A picture is worth a thousand words!
This is especially true on the internet when people quickly browse through content and don't have time to read the texts you would post. An additional benefit is if the picture is eye-catching enough to increase your page views, CTR, etc. Here are some popular online image editors:
CANVA – (www.canva.com) One of the easiest online tools for photo manipulation is Canva, which is a free tool with just some restricted features that are only available in the paid version. With this online tool, you're able to easily add elements, pictures, etc. while defining a custom image size or choosing a predefined one.
PABLO – (https://pablo.buffer.com) Another online tool is Pablo by Buffer. It has slightly less options than Canva, but if you want to add text to your image, then this tool will do the job.
SNAPPA – (https://snappa.com) An excellent editor, but with bigger limitations than the free version of Canva. A good selection of templates, and an ability to transform any picture in many different formats for various social networks.
ADOBE SPARK – (https://spark.adobe.com) With Spark, Adobe definitely wants to get in a race with online editors. When it comes to professional offline image editing, Adobe is unchallengeable with Photoshop, but with the ever increasing number of free online editing sites, it's only logical that they come out with their own online editor.
PIXLR – (https://pixlr.com) is an online editor with a large number of options. It has an interface similar to Photoshop. Since many of its options and fonts are free, you will get more ads than with other tools. You will be able to edit images from your hard disk, from an URL or from Facebook Library. Pixlr offers 2 additional options for fast image editing: Pixlr Express (for quick photo retouches ) and Pixlr O-Matic (for adding interesting retro effects).
AVIARY – (https://www.aviary.com) is another tool by Adobe. Aside from online editing on your computer, you can also download their free app on your smartphone and design and edit pictures there. It's good for fast and simple editing.
PicMonkey – (https://www.picmonkey.com) is a tool that offers many features, but you have to pay for it. There are plenty of options, however if you don't want to pay for image editing, then other free options are better.
DESYGNER – (https://desygner.com) is a free tool for editing pictures that also has a paid version for more options.
FOTOR – (https://www.fotor.com) another great online editor. The free version includes ads (naturally 🙂).
BEFUNKY – (https://www.befunky.com) is an online editor that enables you to edit pictures from your computer, Facebook, Google Drive or Dropbox. There are plenty of features like Layers, Effect, Frames, Overlays, etc.
PRO-tip: If you are frequently doing online image editing, then it's best to create a Project Template that you can save for future projects. This way, you will make your work process significantly quicker.
